About Race for Impact
Race for Impact is the global, mass participation fundraising movement between HYROX and High Impact Athletes. We exist at the intersection of fitness and purpose, turning races into real-world change for causes across Global Health, Mental Health, Animal Welfare, Women’s Empowerment, and Climate Solutions sectors.
We've raised $8M in our first year, and we're growing fast. Now we need someone who lives and breathes social to turn that growth into a name everyone in sports and giving recognises.
About High Impact Athletes
Race for Impact is powered by High Impact Athletes (HIA). We leverage the influence of elite athletes who want to do maximum good by fundraising money for the most effective charities in the world. Race for Impact is our fastest-growing programme, turning the booming fitness race scene into a positive force. We're backed by effective giving principles: driven by evidence, cost-effectiveness, and real outcomes.
About the Role
You’ll own our day-to-day social presence for @raceforimpact spanning multiple channels. This is a content-first role for someone who's just as comfortable making punchy edits as they are writing a pithy caption and planning out a social calendar.
You'll work closely with our marketing team and collaborate across a high-performing remote team that spans multiple time zones. What we need is someone with strong content instincts, sharp social intuition, insight into the latest trends, and the go-getter energy needed to help grow a large and engaged audience. You are someone who also cares deeply about being part of a purpose-led mission built to create impact at scale.
Scope of Work (in order of priority)
-
Editing short-form video — IG Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts
-
Content concepting — bringing fresh ideas to the marketing team, and an understanding of what will work in the HYROX community
-
Writing captions, hooks, and copy that performs
-
Trend monitoring and rapid response — translating what's working on the platform into RFI-relevant content concepts
-
Day-to-day publishing and scheduling of social posts
-
Community engagement — comments, DMs, replies. Building real connections with athletes, ambassadors, and fundraisers
-
Coordinating with HYROX regional social accounts
-
Influencer and ambassador pipeline — helping identify the right people, and support managing creator relationships.
-
Platform strategy input — contributing to how we show up on each channel, not just what we post
-
Basic performance reporting — knowing what the numbers mean and what to do about them
You'll work closely with our growth and engagement lead and director of communications on developing day to day content and bigger campaigns.
You'll thrive here if you…
